Satomi Studio

Kristina Kada is the artist behind Satomi Studio nestled in the quiet mountains of Santa Cruz, California.  Her pieces are inspired by both natural forms and patterns found in architecture.  This fusion of organic curves and precise lines is at the core of Kristina's collection. 

Kristina uses both bright and oxidized sterling silver and adds 22k gold accents to some of the pieces as well.  Much of the work in her collection plays with negative space, which adds visual interest and also, as she says, "lets the pattern breath".  Each piece is hand made using traditional jeweler's techniques including saw piercing and a hydraulic press to combine freehand elements with original castings.  Her line includes necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets.
