Treebourne Woodworking
|
Mark and Sharon Diebolt met by chance at a craft show over 25 years ago. Their love for the arts solidified their relationship and after getting married in the early 80s, the two joined forces as artists under the name Treebourne Woodworking to create a line of furniture, clocks, and boxes. The artists currently live and work out of Rochester, NY.
Treebourne Woodworking creates a line of beautiful jewelry and watch boxes using exotic and domestic hardwoods such as Rosewood, Curly Maple, and Black Walnut. Due to his training in furniture making, Mark puts design ideas to paper and turns raw lumber into functional works of art. Sharon completes the woodworking process by sanding, finishing, and waxing the pieces. Their work is a true collaboration between the husband and wife. Each box is made with three or more different types of wood, which creates striking color and textural contrasts. One of our favorite pieces of theirs is the vertical jewelry box that houses hooks to hang necklaces and earrings. Whether Mark and Sharon are creating clocks, boxes, or custom furniture, each piece is functional, yet simultaneously beautiful works of art.
